Dune Studios is this year’s fitting location for the return of NYC Fotoworks 2012. From October 23rd to 25th, art buyers, creative directors, editors, agents, galleries and design firms will flock to Downtown Manhattan to network with up and coming and established creative professionals. Rather then a mass mailer or online showcase, NYC Fotoworks enables people to make a face to face connection, in affect creating a personal showcase of their work.
As with previous years, Focus Workshops will be held throughout the event. These workshops act as a forum for professionals and those emerging in the industry for discussions on current issues they may be facing, as well as offering advice and guidance.
Although reviews are based on a one to one meeting, the second night of the event will conclude with a cocktail party, giving all attendees a chance to network with people in their own field, not to mention potential collaborators in a relaxed and casual environment.
