Earlier this month we sent Production Paradise agent Majka off to the ADC Festival in Frankfurt to find out what it’s all about and get the gossip from the world of creative advertising and communication.
The Art Director’s Club (ADC) is a group comprised of 607 leading creatives in advertising, design, digital media, editorial, event & communication and teaching & research, who together strive to ‘set the standard for creative communication excellence.’
The festival, which took place this May, displayed over 8,000 individual exhibits including the submissions for the ADC and ADC junior competitions. The contests aim to ‘honour the best work from around the world in interactive media, broadcast and print advertising, graphic design, publication design, packaging, photography and illustration.’ Advertising agency Heimat Berlin found themselves snapping up the ‘Grand Prix’ for their work for Turner Broadcasting System – The CNN Ecosphere.
Majka said “I had a very good impression of the ADC Festival. It is a very well prepared, organized and professional festival/exhibition/congress. This is really the yearly event for the top German creatives of the best advertising agencies.”
Production Paradise is the official partner of ADC Germany.
