George Bernard Shaw once said “There is no sincerer love than the love of food”. The team behind Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year understand this perfectly, and year upon year they bring a prestigious awards ceremony to the world. In addition to a celebration of food photography, the category unearthed® Food in Film supported by delicious is also a major highlight.
The winner of unearthed® Food in Film supported by delicious was announced at a packed reception at the Mall Galleries, London, as Peter Flanek and Peter Meszaros (Hungary) for their brilliant film short, Snooker Loopy:

As well as the trophy, the winners received a cheque for £1000. The category was judged by Simon Day, Founder of unearthed®, sponsor of the category, George Motz, Founder and Director of the Food Film Festival, NYC, Nik Powell, Director of the National Film & Television School and James Winter, food TV Producer.
“The competition was intensely fierce,” says Day, “there were entries from across the world and the standard was phenomenal. This film about a game of snooker played with food, stood out from the rest, however, for its highly characterful wit and originality.”
Barbara Zonzin (Netherlands) won the People’s Choice vote for her film, All Natural:
