  Panasonic p-2 tapeless system is now available at Ovide BS.
  P2 Camcorders and VTRs are now available for renting at Barcelona and Madrid Ovide's premises.
  
  More specifically, Panasonic's AJ-SPX800 camcorders, AJ-SPD850 VTRs and AJ-PCD10 drives have been added to Ovide's catalogue.
  
  Recording on to memory cards means avoiding unecessary delays when editing since you are now working directly on cards, as if it were a hard disk. The P2 system uses memory cards which allow recording in DVCPRO or DVCPRO 50, avoiding any possible mechanical failure, since there is no mobile mechanics: it is a 100% electronic system.
  
  To help introduce this new equipment, where no tape is necessary, Ovide BS will rent P2 Cards at a special low price.

  New Sony HVR-Z1E to hire Photo Gallery

  Ovide B.S. now offers for rental the new SONY HDR-FX1E camcorder, the first high definition camcorder in HDV 1080i format.
  
  The Sony HDR-FX1E enables production and post-production, through FireWire, at low cost, using most software including Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Pinacle Liquid, Avid, etc.
  
  Some of the characteristics are:
  3x 1/3” 1-millon-pixel CCDs, 1080i, double format shooting HDV and MiniDV, 16:9 native, 3’5” high resolution LCD monitor, 4.5 to 54 mm Zeiss lenses, Cine-Tone and Cine-Frame functions.

  The filming of "De Moda", the first Spanish television series which was shot in high definition (HD) has just been completed. The eight-month shoot was done exclusively in Barcelona

  Sony Pictures Television International and Diagonal TV hired Ovide BS for technical support for the HD equipment.
