For the last decade, Setup Productions has offered its services in Barcelona, Spain and elsewhere managing all types of projects in film, photo and events. Pierre Mallmann and his professional team guarantees the very best local services. They specialize in cars and fashion, be it for photography or commercial filming.
Featured in this Spotlight are the images for Brigitte Magazine with photographer Wiebke Broeker. The casting took Setup to various flamenco schools and bars throughout Spain.
The Hyundai i30 film and photo project with Thomas Goos (D.O.P) took place at the Zaragoza’s Expo and all around Barcelona.
El Corte Inglés promo editorials for various Spanish magazines brought the team to Miami. The shooting with photographer Nina W. Melton, involved three different projects.
Persil sent photographer Bernd Opitz to shoot the advertisement campaign pictures while the commercials were shot with Twototango. Bernd also shot Rolf Benz furniture a few weeks earlier.
Last but not least, The Mini. Every year since the new Mini was born, Setup was able to work with the people and the cars, creating a stylish and highly efficient way to shoot the cars in motion. Now for the Mini Countryman Setup signed for another real adventure on the roads of Aragon and the Pyrenees. -

Setup productions photo production
Setup Productions' 2008 promotional videos for Mini Clubman and Cooper S Clubman won Gold Medals at the prestigious New York Festival for Commercial Film 2009 in the 'Industrial Productions Sale' category.
Shot between Madrid, Navarra, and the roads of Atazar, Setup assisted director Martin Kriegler and his team during a two-week shoot. The company gathered a range of images, from plain driving pleasure to cosmopolitan city traffic, stop motion photography and animated graphics. The result is a beautiful film screened in Mini showrooms and at trade fairs worldwide.
In November, the core team was in Miami working on an editorial for Naif Magazine and preparing locations in Arizona, New Mexico and California for upcoming projects in the US.
In Barcelona, the company welcomed Drop Out Films from Germany for the last few sunny days of 2008, filming images for the upcoming Adidas Running web campaign.

Setup productions photo production
During the Spanish 'vacaciones', Setup was busy with German catalogues and advertising jobs. Whilst everyone else enjoyed the sun at the beach - and the parties by night! - Setup had beautiful working days in Ibiza with Nina Melton behind the camera shooting for Quelle and preparing the upcoming session for the Spanish Boboli campaign.
While the Ibiza shoots were in full swing, German investment bank DEKA confirmed a job that saw Setup head back to Barcelona. Piet Truhlar, one of Germany's most desirable photographers, arrived to take the company through one of its most spectacular projects - involving a giant cup and lots of water! Setup then left for Mallorca with Pierre Cardin, shot by Frank Grimm, and Elegance, shot by Parisian photographer Lutz Winkelmann.
For a serious yet family-like atmosphere with little hassle and maximum fun, Setup productions is the most experienced production service company in Barcelona.
