Darius Ramazani has been involved in a project to promote the 'Kältebus' (Cold Bus), a service organised by the social welfare group Berliner Stadtmission (Berlin City Mission). The Cold Bus tours the dark streets of Berlin on freezing nights to give homeless people a lift to the warmth of a local shelter. Darius photographed the 74-year-old Heinz, who has lived on the streets for a number of years, during which time he has experienced many dangerously icy-cold winters in the German capital. Heinz is indebted to the invaluable charitable support offered to him, and many other homeless people in the same situation, by the Berliner Stadtmission.
Darius has also been working on a photo shoot for Hartmann AG, a Germany-based provider of medical and healthcare products. In his distinctive style, Darius photographed a variety of portraits of elderly people, focusing on the theme of skin and age.

Berlin: Darius Ramazani
For the cover story of German women’s soccer magazine 11 Freundinnen, photographer Darius Ramazani shot Lira Bajramaj, one of the most successful female soccer players in Germany who has a promising future in the national team. Bajramaj was born in Kosovo and fled with her family to Germany in 1993. Darius captures her beauty as a professional athlete and as a young modern woman with a moving life story.
For the magazine Golden Arrow Darius took a close look at South Africa. Beyond the advertising clichés he captures the authentic life of the South African people. Together with publisher Sven Ruhs who initiated the magazine, Darius worked on the 128-page declaration of love to South Africa, written in German and English and that is totally advert-free. Darius Ramazani recently took photos on the coast of Turkey for a new image campaign for travel company Öger Tours. The shoot focused on the company's image change from that of a travel business for all-inclusive holidays to one specialising in individual trips.
Creative directors Thorsten Müller (art) and Marc-Oliver Drescher (text) planned the campaign. The concept has people on holiday, with a couple at the beach and a man hiking in the mountains, while Turkish people show the tourists the best of their country.

Darius Ramazani was chosen by Meissen to portray its first ever jewellery collection, currently being established across Europe. The richly decorated, unique heritage line made of precious materials, which pays homage to the Meissen porcelain artworks of the past 300 years, was photographed by Darius in the romantic setting of a Bavarian castle.
Turkish food manufacturer Ülker is celebrating its 65th anniversary with an advertising campaign based on the concept "A Happy Moment: Making Life Beautiful". Darius travelled to Istanbul for 10 days to shoot the photo campaign, which will be shown throughout Turkey in the form of large-format ads.
