EAST HOTEL HAMBURG hotels

The EAST hotel in Hamburg is described as "a location for pleasure and nightlife", with "rooms that make you happy". With a fascinating bar set in an old iron foundry and an elaborate restaurant concept that offers a dining experience for even the most demanding of connoisseurs, the hotel is a truly unique experience.

All 128 rooms have king size beds, wireless internet access, cable TV, telephone, minibar, safe with PC socket, shower or full baths. EAST also offers a selection of finely decorated apartments and suites for film or photography shoots and longer staying guests.

The hotel boasts a cinema with 80 seats, a separate conference area, large fitness club with roof terrace, and massage and facial treatments.

Design hotel and bar hot-spot East features 125 rooms, lofts and suites in one of Hamburg's most innovatively daring structures. Housed in a former iron foundry, the hotel blends gastronomy, hospitality and nightlife around a three-storey restaurant. Four interior pillars tower over what was the main factory hall, while dramatically lit sections of the original foundations divide the candlelight restaurant area. Guests are also welcome to visit the hotel's private cinema.

Rooms display futuristic, curving forms and bright tones in a cosmopolitan, transcontinental design language. They all have king-size beds, cable TV, telephone, minibar, safe, PC socket, shower or full bath, and separate WC. The hotel now also offers apartments for long stay guests.

Opening at the end of the year will be an exciting new sporting and spa club.

east, the new design restaurant and hotel in the centre of Hamburg, opened in October 2004 at Simon-von-Utrecht-Straße 31.

Bringing to life what he calls "a surreal mixture of East and West, old and new", Chicago-based star architect Jordan Mozer presents his signature narrative architecture and organic design to Hamburg's swankiest address.

East features 125 rooms, lofts and suites in one of the booming northern German city's most daring structures. In a former iron foundry the hotel blends gastronomy, hospitality and nightlife around a three-storey high restaurant.
Four pillars tower within the former factory hall, while dramatically lit parts of the original foundation divide the by candlelight illuminated restaurant area. Alongside Asian accents that complement natural fabrics and pebble-grain leather, different floors are scented in ginger, lotus, jasmine or cinnamon.
