  Karlsruhe: Black Box Studio  

  The Black Box studios are designed for professional photography and film productions. Facilities include a range of special equipment for car photography, including over-sized seamless backgrounds, an 11m vertical shooting height (standing), a variety of sails, as well as Bläsing, Elinchrome and Tungsten lighting equipment.

  The complex includes separate rooms for hair and make-up, as well as a cafeteria. Conveniently located near the A-5 motorway, there are a variety of hotels providing a range of accommodation nearby.

  Studio dimensions and facilities:

  • Studio 1: 575 m², background cove, 27 current metres, height of 9m, lighting pit background system ideal for green, blue, white or black box and perfect for 16:9 format shooting.
  • Studio 1a: 300 m², lighting pit background system, specially designed for light effects including water surface shots.
  • Studio 1b: 275 m², background cove, 27 current metres, height of 9m as white or green box.
  • Studio 3: 90 m², round horizon overhead, perfect for fashion, beauty and still life.
