Big Mama - New York [USA]
Big Mama is a new company with a fresh attitude that emerged out of frequent requests by clients to work with South American and European directors for advertising commercials. After more than 10 years of experience working with Vagabond Films, offering production services in South America, the company selected a creative, experienced and talented pool of foreign directors to create Big Mama.
Lorenzo Benedick and Andrea Martins conceived Big Mama with the goal of providing clients with high quality work at a fraction of the cost by offering exceptional local directors, production and postproduction as one package - in the U.S., Europe and South America.
Lorenzo Benedick is originally from Switzerland and is founder and president of Vagabond Films. Based in New York City, Vagabond has grown to offer production services in the U.S.; Montevideo, Caracas, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Santiago.
Andrea Martins, a former producer for Vagabond Films, is now Big Mama's Head of Sales. She has produced national and International commercials and music videos with such clients as Procter & Gamble, Disney Channel, Jeep, Nokia, MTV, LG, Peugeot, and produced for a number of advertising agencies including Young Rubicam, DDB, McCann Ericsson, Publicis, Almap, BBDO, JWT among others.
