AVOCADO Productions based in Switzerland and Russia provides photo production services in Russia and ex-soviet countries.

Established in 1999, by Swiss photographer Urs Wyss for own productions in Moscow, the company has since extended its services and client list. And now provides full photo-production services for local and international clients, covering the entire production process from pre-production to postproduction.

In their own words, their aim is to provide a smooth and successful production, catered to client's specific needs.... everything for a particular production, tailoring each service to client needs and budget.

They will handle visas, travel, hotel reservations, transportation, castings, and bookings of the necessary crew. The company works with a wide range of international and local artists, such as fashion stylists, hair stylists, make-up artists, and production coordinators.

AVOCADO also represents internationally known photographers, art directors and hair & make-up artists.

Urs Wyss [Zurich]  

Swiss photographer Urs Wyss moves between Moscow and his home country, often working in Paris and London, too.

He works mainly for international companies, and likes working in team, and loves shooting for fashion magazines, like Vogue Russia, GQ, Harpers Bazaar, Jalouse, Elle and InStyle.

Currently, he is shooting a monthly beauty story for InStyle Russia with well-known Russian actors, as well as for P&G Russia and will shortly be shooting a big beauty story for InStyle.

Moscow [Russia] : Avocadoproductions  

Moscow: alongside large busy avenues, wide squares, fast-moving city life and glittering ads, you find calm residential areas; small hidden churches with golden domes; monumental Stalinist building; and chaotic, colourful, beautiful cathedrals (Archangelsky, Uspensky, Blagoveshensky).

St. Petersburg: the river, embankment, splendid palaces, big halls, the city (Admiralty Tower, St Isaac Cathedral, Peter & Paul Fortress, Spit of Vasilyevsky Island)... and you could well be the only person standing on the bridge. St. Petersburg is special, "poetic" with water, smoke and "white nights" and full of culture.
