THE ROLES

Account Manager/Account Director
Responsibilities will differ depending on the level of the role.
The key day-to-day tasks of an Account Manager/Account Director include:

Build and manage client relationships with a pro-active and competent approach to ensure maximum client satisfaction.
Manage and guide junior team members to ensure delivery of desired results.
Challenge and debate client briefs.
Manage projects through the agency and maintain excellent relations with colleagues across all departments throughout the Agency.
Actively identify opportunities to grow the accounts and show commercial awareness across accounts. Manage day to day costs of projects through effective financial planning and management.
Planner
Responsibilities will differ depending on the level of the role.
The key day-to-day tasks of a Planner include:

Working across a strong portfolio of brands, adding value to on-going client relationships as much as delivering on shorter term strategic projects.
Working closely with account teams and the creative department to write briefs and develop concepts.
Researching markets to identify trends and how client’s brands are positioned against competitors.
Writing and presenting your thinking.
Creative
Responsibilities will differ depending on the level of the role.
The key day-to-day tasks of a Creative include:

Creating high quality, original, creative work from briefs provided.
Working closely with account teams and the planning department to develop concepts.
Support the rest of the department when required.
Presenting ideas to both colleagues and clients.
Time management responsibility for ensuring personal deadlines are managed and met.
THE CANDIDATES

Account Manager/Account Director
Key attributes of the ideal Account Manager/Account Director include:

Past agency experience in a similar role.
Experience working with blue chip brands online and/or offline.
Ability to manage a campaign.
Proactive self-starter.
Confident communicator.
Good attention to detail.
Planner
Key attributes of the ideal Planner include:

Familiar with advertising and marketing research along with its role in the creative process.
A media-neutral thinker who is curious about people and what makes them think or act the way they do.
A keen interest in how consumers interact with brands and how they engage with creative communications.
Love ‘ideas', and the process of creative development.
Have the ability and desire to make the complex, simple.
Creative
Key attributes of the ideal Creative include:

Past agency experience in a similar role.
A passion for the creativity.
A confident communicator with the ability to inspire others with their ideas.
Ability to understand the context of a brief in relationship to the client’s business objectives.
Proficient in the industry standard software.
Able to work independently as well as in a team.
