Job Description

In the field of visual projection events, you will provide expertise to assess and select suppliers and contractors for design, layout and construction of exhibits and displays as well as creative and appealing audio and video contents, ensuring that projects meet aesthetic, budgetary and practical requirements.

Key responsibilities:

-Prepare instructions and project briefs for contractors and suppliers
-Prepare technical requirements for calls for tenders or calls for proposals (display and contents)
-Conduct consultations with contractors and suppliers, negotiating and agreeing budgets and time-scales with Management
-Interact and lead communication with suppliers, contractors, lighting, sound and projection specialists
-Develop best practice methodologies to assist internal development of the project, manage risk, deal with day-to-day issues and change control
-Keep yourself and the team up-to-date with latest tech trends and maintain awareness of current creative and modern influences
-Proactive in delivering results

You posses knowledge/expertise in:

-Audiovisual and multimedia trends
-Projection and display technologies and configurations, LED, LCD, Laser, DLP; front and rear projection, edge blending, projection mapping, video walls, lighting control, etc.
-Video formats and requirements for conversion between formats, understand image sizes calculation, aspect ratio, viewing angles, contrast, display brightness and viewing distances for various systems based on content and viewing environment
-Significant client projects and liaising with a cross-section of client and project staff.
-Delivering and/or managing large, technically complex projects, involving multiple technology disciplines.
-Work stages from concept to commissioning and handover.
-Working with an exhibition display design division to -----clarify issues and develop the design brief.
-Team working with architects, project managers, vendors, developers and other design disciplines.
