A world-class Creative Lead is the owner and evangelist of their cluster’s creative vision. You become a thought leader for the cluster’s mission, sharing insights and information that makes your teams smarter about the problems they work on together. You help everyone in your cluster ask good, thoughtful, user-centered questions.
You are responsible for understanding gaps in your design team that need to be resourced. You become a mentor to the designers in your team, this means you lead by example, teach them how to do their jobs more efficiently and correctly, and you work with them to understand where they want to grow and help chart a course of success for them. In order to make sure your team stays on track, you will do bi-weekly one-on-ones with your direct reports.
You will split part of your time actually designing and manifesting your ideas, and you will spend the rest of your time on managing your team, managing the expectations of executives, and evangelizing design best-practices across clusters with other Creative Leads.

- Is able to function independently with minimal oversight and direction.
- Assignments range from focused to broad in nature and scope.
Fluency in best practices for mobile and web-based design, as well as strong knowledge of information architecture.
Mastery of the tools you use to create your designs. They use Sketch and the Adobe Creative Suite.
Careful Attention to details, pixel perfection and visual form.
Advanced knowledge of rapid prototyping tools, such as InVision.
Working knowledge of Interactive or motion design.
Understanding of the technical development process, or ability to code, a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are a MUST.
Is able to creative direct a team of designers.
Senior thought leadership around industry trends.
Thrive in a fast paced work environment that requires independent self-direction with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.
Demonstrate initiative, self-confidence, energy, and an eagerness to learn.
Present ideas, expectations and information in a concise and well-organized way.
Ability to think outside the box and challenge preconceived notions around UI/UX.
Demonstrates passion and excitement for the opportunity to solve some of the industry’s biggest user problems that exist beyond the pixels on a screen.
