This position is responsible for developing, managing and implementing a marketing and business development strategy to develop and grow new clients and nurture existing account relationships. There are three key areas of responsibility: 1) concentrate the Hot Studio brand messaging platform and evangelize the Hot Studio Brand; 2) oversee client development processes and ensure strong connection of priorities and activities; and 3) create meaningful relationships with new and prospective clients, while fostering strong collaboration among Hot Studio account teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales

Create a well designed sales strategy to achieve financial and growth targets
Research, identify and qualify new leads
Responsible for Hot Studio CRM practices and activities
Maintain an ongoing prospect list and help create opportunities for leadership team members to engage in strategic conversations with key targeted accounts
Serve as a strategic resource to account development teams
Lead the sales forecasting efforts and proactively informing finance of resource needs



Marketing

Lead Hot Studio’s internal and marketing activities, serving as the Brand steward and evangelist
Create a marketing strategy and plan to support the Hot Studio sales strategy
Manage marketing, conference and PR resources and participation
Oversee development and updates of marketing materials, including capabilities presentations, proposal design and templates, etc.
Systematically assess and evaluate customer and competitive intelligence



REQUIRED SKILLS

Experience developing key account relationships and coaching teams toward an account management orientation
Proven track record in generating leads and/or building key consulting accounts in the $1mm-$2mm range
Design, business strategy, management consulting, technology delivery experience desired
Ability to lead teams in proposal development and/or work independently to respond to RFPs and accurately bid
Passion for building strong client relationships and spotting potential business opportunities
Strong communication, facilitation and leadership skills
Knows when to lead, when to inform, and when to seek experience
Comfortable working across offices, divisions and geography
Degree in business, marketing, or a design discipline; masters preferred
