The ideal candidate must posses the following:
Lightning fast execution and a deep understanding of Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with motion graphics, UX design and web design is a plus.
4+ years experience with the software.
An ability to visualize the 3D execution of 2D graphics
An understanding of and/or experience with a variety of large scale printing methods, laser cutting/ engraving, signage manufacture, building materials, fabrication processes, tools, and CNC milling.
The willingness and ability to learn new things fast.
A passion for all things design.
The ability to work with others and also own their own workload.
The ability to manage expectations of time and effort for tasks: knowing how much time you need to do various tasks, and knowing how much you can reasonably get done in a defined period of time.
The desire to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment. A natural inclination to push yourself creatively.
Understanding Typography, color theory, and strong layout for visual presentations
Tasks include but not limited to:
Strategize and collaborate with Creative Director on upcoming and current projects
Collaborate with fellow designers, directors, carpenters, project managers, installers, sculptors, printers, painters and more to create kick-ass and achievable design solutions
Maintain and update Guild branding standards as needed.
Maintain and update Guild facilities branding as needed.
Collaborate with designers and drafters on client presentation and approval decks.
Constantly researching and exploring current design, art, sculpture, and technology to further develop design skills and sensibility.
Constantly investigating and experimenting with new digital and manual processes for both designing and presenting.
Constant brainstorming for the next mind-blowing idea!
