The Graphic Designer & Digital Media Coordinator reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Collaborate with internal clients on the creative direction, concept, design and production of a variety of print and digital pieces including: program guides, brochures, advertisements, direct mail, promotional items, flyers, website graphics, newsletters, presentations, annual reports, e-blasts and other materials as required.
Develop standard templates and forms for the organization.
Serve as a brand steward to ensure proper usage of COCA brand standards throughout the organization.
Collaborate with the Marketing Publications and Promotions Coordinator to create and maintain an annual publication schedule that establishes production timelines and deadlines for print and digital pieces.
Maintain outside print/production vendor relationships, obtain bids, prepare files for print, and schedule printing/production to meet deadlines and budget goals.
Update/maintain COCA and sub-brand websites using existing content management system and some HTML. This includes both content management and some content creation (copywriting in addition to layout and visual structure).
Maintain COCA’s presence on social media outlets (currently Facebook, Twitter and YouTube) including, writing, creating and scheduling content and creating social media promotional strategies.
Coordinate email marketing efforts. Develop schedule and targeted strategy for distribution. Design and build e-blasts, maintain email contact database,
Create promotional videos/slideshows from existing footage and photography.
Serve as photographer at various events, and catalogue and maintain photo files.
Maintain and archive design-related files.
Other administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Three to five years experience in marketing or related field.
Proven knowledge of graphic design techniques and standards.
Extensive experience with InDesign and the entire Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience using social media as a professional marketing tool.
Basic working knowledge of website content management systems and HTML.
Strong MS Office skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Proven ability to work independently and with a team.
