Under James Perse and Design’s directions, find the right solution in visual communication, from conceptualization through production (sketching, design in digital, etc.);
Design graphics that are able to communicate in both a verbal and non-verbal manner and in the style required by the brand;
Study brand’s desired messages and communications and translate into visual images that are exact and precise;
Research, study and observe previous communications and ideas as well as analyze target audience to understand and develop proposed design ideas utilizing both conventional and unconventional theories;
Conduct design research to acquire inspiration from fashion, fine art, architecture, interior design, photography and lifestyle of target audience;
Regularly communicate with designers to ensure needs are met and execution is accurate;
Stay current on the latest graphic design techniques, trends, styles and participate in learning and sharing of creative ideas and skills;
Maximize the use of existing technology, create design efficiencies and evaluate design packages and tools;
Use a variety of media, print and electronic environments to create computer-generated graphic images and designs;
Manage and maintain brand standards across marketing collateral, store window graphics, signage, product labeling and packaging.
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
Create professional presentations with variations.
Manage packaging and printing jobs with vendors.

PRINCIPAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

Education:

BA required, MFA a plus
