Position Overview: A Graphic Designer is responsible for creating effective advertising for Sandals Resorts brands and partner companies, which include, but are not limited to: Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts, Grand Pineapple Beach Resorts, Fowl Cay, The Sandals Foundation, and Island Routes.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Working on the development of various collateral, from design phase through delivery, including brochures, invitations, advertisements, PowerPoint, fliers, etc.
Designing creative that reflects current brand standards, as directed from senior team members.
Creating graphic elements such as logos, color correct and retouch images, and place or convert graphic elements and/or images into correct formats and programs.
Ability to select images, text styles and layout that effectively convey the brand message.
Properly package and prepare design files for print, as well as review and verify vendor color proofs and attend press checks when needed.
Handling various special requests related to graphic design services on an assigned basis.
Working closely with traffic coordinators to meet specific department requests and deadlines.
Communicating with senior team members when given feedback by following creative direction and providing suggestions.
Support the team throughout the execution and finalization of campaigns and projects.
Staying up-to-date with industry design techniques and the latest design software in order to maintain and improve work.
Working effectively in a team environment, as well as demonstrating efficiency when working independently.
Willingness and ability to travel outside of the country and/or attend product update meetings to maintain comprehensive brand knowledge.
Resume must include link to portfolio
Must be proficient with MAC-based programs/software
Knowledge of the most current Adobe Creative Suite design software, which includes, but is not limited to: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Have an understanding of fundamental visual, typographic, and print and electronic design disciplines and principals.
The ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure environment
A background of working as part of a design team
Good organizational and problem-solving skills that will help support the team

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two to three years with Graphic Design experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in the graphic design industry; minimum of 3 years.
Background or experience in tourism/hospitality industry is a plus.
