This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and work in a highly creative and collaborative office space in Pyrmont, Sydney.
In this role you will learn and develop your existing directing skills by working with a large variety of global and local clients.
The role of Director/Editor is an integral part of the broadcast production and overall delivery team. This role reports to the Head of Broadcast and will be responsible for managing one direct report. The role works closely with the creative department and producers.
The key responsibilities for this role involve directing and editing for online videos, television commercials, behind the scenes etc. Plus editing other work such as case studies and hype reels.
To be considered you must have 2-3 years experience directing and editing comedy, performance and visual work.
You must be able to demonstrate your experience and competency using the following computer programmes:
· FCP 7
· After effects
· Quicktime Pro
· Mpeg Stream clip
And / or be willing to be trained to use:
· Canon 5D
In addition to having a director skill set, we are looking for someone who:
· Works well in a team environment
· Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Is a confident and persuasive presenter
· Understands and embraces the commercial aspects of their business
