Whether adding to the core Android experience, forging new markets for digital content, creating immersive and portable versions of our products or managing relationships with a global community of developers, the Mobile team is giving you Google on the go.
Help to define the user model and user interface for new and existing Google products and features custom-built for an emerging market audience.
Develop high-level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Gauge the usability of new and existing products and make constructive suggestions for change.
BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in designing usable mobile interfaces from pre- to post-launch (more than 2 consumer apps launched).
MA/MS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or a related field.
Experience in designing for emerging markets and closely tracking relevant UI trends.
Strong interaction design; confident, clean visual design.
Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel once per quarter (to India and California).
