-Lead Design efforts for all websites within KULA’s current and future offerings
-Work closely with CEO and external parties (Public Relations, Social Media Experts, etc) to ensure business objectives are met with new design elements
-Plan, Review and Design all print and public facing promotional material.
-Develop archive of KULA creative materials, and create internal documentation on design-related protocols and Best Practices.
-Daily leadership, review and approval of all design work by internal resources or third parties
-Lead Usability assessments of current and future designs to ensure ease of use
-Create tracking mechanisms to determine success of particular web-based-designs and recommend changes based on data sets acquired
Required Software Experience/Adobe Creative Suite (CS) Package including:
Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash, After Effects, Adobe ImageReady, Adobe Acrobat, Quark Xpress, Microsoft Office including Powerpoint, Suitcase Font Management
Preferred Programming Skills
-Strong understanding of UI principles and practices
-Able to code sites from the ground up using CSS and HTML.
-Extensive knowledge in cross-browser compatibility, web usability and functionality.
-Experience with structured web development environments using
-Revision control systems such as GIT and Subversion.
Qualifications: At least four years relevant experience working in similar production environments. Technical degree preferred.
