Who You Are:
A creative and dynamic individual with a keen eye for design and knowledge of current industry trends and website best practices, who is looking to work with an experienced and talented design and marketing team to expand your skills and contribute ideas.
The Jr. Graphic/Web Designer will shape the way our clients interact and transact on our e-commerce websites from designing mock-ups to designing creative on-brand websites that help our agency market and drive sales and client engagement.
Duties will include but are never limited to:
Creating on-brand product mock-ups
Optimizing product image assets for the web
Website design using HTML/CSS and our industry CMS platform
Working closely with our Design Director, Program Managers and Design Team, the Jr. Graphic/Web Designer will build product mock-ups and website design elements including global navigation buttons, header images and visual buttons to enhance our clients' user experiences.
Maintaining and updating all web assets
Additional ad hoc design work as required
Required Skills and Experience:
0-5 years of experience in web design with a portfolio you can share
Undergraduate degree or equivalent in Fine Arts, Illustration, Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Photography, Interactive Arts & Technology and/or New Media
A solid understanding of general design principles, grid systems, and typography
Demonstrated website design skill set and best practices
Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering polished websites under tight time constraints
Keen sense of ownership and detail-orientation throughout projects
Excellent, self-driven multitasking, moving from one project to another
Strong knowledge of industry tools including Adobe Creative Cloud Suite:
HTML / CSS
Bonus: InDesign, Microsoft Dynamics CRM
