Our client is actively seeking a Junior Production Coordinator/Production Assistant for a full time position at
their London Studio, The YouTube Space. The YouTube Space is part of a Global initiative that serves as a
creative production facility for both established and emerging YouTube content creators who are part of the
YouTube Partner Program.
Production Coordinators support the production managers or production supervisors in organising the
requirements in the Space, liaising with the Creators and ensuring all Creator requirements are met.. The
work is varied and each project may be different. In general a Production Coordinator will help to make sure
that everything runs smoothly during filming.
Tasks may include but are not limited to, liaising with creators on all aspects from call sheets to production
logistics, liaising with the production team on requirements for each booking, ensuring all creators adhere to
the Space guidelines and processes,, programs and events. The role may involve working across a variety
of content areas including lifestyle, gaming, comedy, animation, and educational content, so an interest in
any would be advantageous.
The role requires the ability to work effectively with many types of channel creators from around the world,
from largescale media companies to independent auteurs. We’re looking for an organised individual with a
knack for multitasking and hands on production coordination experience at a more junior level, but someone
who is also prepared to be ‘hands on’ in the studio space, can assist with cameras, workshops and general
Minimum: BA or equivalent with a strong academic record and analytical skills
Minimum: 2+ years experience in TV, Film, Digital production
Minimum: 1+ years combined experience as a junior production coordinator, camera operator and general
Minimum: Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
Must be available to works Saturdays as part of a 5 day week
● Liaise with production specialists on requirements for daytoday productions
● Help creators set up their shoots
● Be on hand to answer any issues around equipment & production best practices
● Maintain stock room and logging system to ensure equipment is easily accessible and returned after
● Ability to work outside normal working hours including weekends (Saturdays)
● Day to day execution of processes and procedures in the Space across areas such as facilities and
health and safety.
● Execute logistics for large scale events and programmes in the Space in collaboration with creative
and production teams
