Locke Bryan Productions, one of Houston’s most respected video production companies, is seeking a Post Production Manager with strong leadership skills who is a team player. This person works well with others and thrives on a deadline. •Oversee all post production processes including scheduling, billing and archiving of post work created by four editing and graphics suites.
•Manage post production staff, including editors and designers, traffic manager, and freelance staff.
•Supervise full-time and temporary freelance post-production staff on varied company processes including scheduling, billing, and archiving.
•Ensure on-time delivery of all projects through all departments.
•Manage Traffic Manager in processing all duplication orders including outsourced mass duplication for corporate and agency clients, traffic orders and instructions to local, regional and national television and radio stations regularly shipping to over 230 stations nationwide.
•5 or more years of experience in a project management position with a video production or other creative services company.
•Bachelor degree in video production, advertising, or other related communications fields or equivalent, relevant industry experience.
•Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
•Professional, business-focused attitude and courteous manner towards clients and staff.
•Ability to be calm under pressure and respond well under tight deadlines.
•Attention to detail and the desire to see a job through to completion is a must.
•High level of organization and attention to systems and procedures is required.
•Proficiency primarily in PC environment, with some MAC familiarity.
•Expert knowledge of Office 365 and Microsoft Office Suite, especially: Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with Microsoft Access a plus.
•Experience with digital distribution services such as Deluxe, Extreme Reach or DG a strong plus.
•Familiarity with AVID, Adobe Creative Suite and 3DS Max important.
