Take direction from senior photographer on still life shoots as well as assist on model ready to wear shoots.
-Shoot Marc Jacobs and Marc By Marc Jacobs products. Both flat clothing shots and accessories across both brands.
-Continuously deliver high quality, elegant, beautiful and creative images of both brands products.
-Ensure quality work meets a luxury brand standard.
-Maintain a clean and productive working environment in and outside of the studio.
-Name images while shooting products.
-Organize and archive files as they are created.
-Ensure products are accurately lit and white balanced.
-Creatively shoot key products for email campaigns under direction of senior photographer and buying director.
-Assist on model ready wear shoots at direction of senior photographer.
-Work closely with sample coordinators to plan future shoots.
-Ensure all products on shot lists are shot before passing back samples.
-Constant improvement of workflow.
-Maintain eager to work attitude in high-pressure work environments.
-Maintain an ingenious work environment.
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Experience in a photographic field is required.
-Commercial studio photography experience.
-Strong experience in Capture one pro, Photoshop, Bridge, light room, camera raw, and image capture,
-Proficient with professional grade camera knowledge across all types and brands.
-Experience with breaking down, and setting up studio lighting.
-Strong knowledge of studio lighting and lighting modifiers
-Visionary qualities in and out of the studio in photography.
-Able to work with in a team
-Ability to take initiative, be efficient, and productive
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to see problems before they arise
-Expresses creative ideas on a daily bases.
