Pro Video Production

InMotion Imagery has a position open for an enthusiastic production professional to lead team efforts on video and multimedia projects of varying sizes. This person will work directly with customers to develop effective messaging based on the customer’s goals. We are looking for someone who has an understanding of quality, a creative thinker who sees value in high level production and execution of projects. This person should be able to handle all aspects of video production from concept to delivery; customer communications, scripting/writing, producing, shooting, directing, editing, and presentation of the final product.

Shooting and editing of video for commercial, short content pieces, news features, sales and promotional content.
Work with team in creative sessions.
Maintain cameras, lenses and editing equipment.
Supervise other staff on media wrangling and archiving client projects.
Keep up with industry trends in equipment and processes.


Required Skills and Experience:

Must have a Bachelor of Arts degree in film studies or related field.
Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience shooting and editing video content for broadcast or company websites.
Must have working knowledge of lighting and grip equipment.
Must demonstrate sophisticated and aesthetic technical skill, and knowledge of current media trends.
Must be highly motivated, and able to work well alone, as well as part of a team.
Must have proficient video editing skills with Final Cut Pro X.
Must have experience working with camera crews, and experience operating cameras and sound equipment.
Must have high level of attention to detail; strong organizational and planning skills.
Must have excellent communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills.
Must be a self-starter, deadline oriented and skilled at time management; juggling several projects at once and being able to prioritize tasks is an absolute must in our field.
Must be knowledgeable of and experienced with Canon cinema cameras, broadcast level equipment, and DSLRs for video and stills.
Must have schedule flexibility as work will include some evenings, weekends and travel as needed.
Must have a strong understanding of the production/post-production process.
Must have an understanding of quality, and be a creative thinker who sees value in high level production and timely execution of projects.
Must be a forward thinker with the ability to foster innovation and creativity, while also maintaining a clear sense of business objectives and briefs.
Must have the ability to adapt well in changing situations and environments; flexibility when it comes to working hours and travel are both essential criteria for this role.
