Our client is a fully integrated agency who is looking for an On-site Creative Artworker to work in their studio in Hoddesdon alongside 3 other employees, working for the Creative Services Department and reporting for all day-to-day requirements to the onsite head of the department. This position is on a contract basis with the possibility of going permanent. Responsibilities include design, artwork and amendment of printed materials and interactive content for internal clients in line with business requirements. Meeting strict deadlines and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Duties, Responsibilities, Activities
Design print-based artwork and interactive media content for brand teams and other internal customers from initial concept through to proofing stage.
Amend global and regional franchise materials for use within the UK.
Work as part of extended brand team on promotional campaigns with Brand Promotions, Multi-Channel Communications and other departments.
Provide design and print management services for the wider business across all areas.
Prioritise own workload to ensure deadlines are met.
Maintain up to date knowledge of brand portfolio, equipment, company and industry standards.
Conduct all activities in compliance with company policies and standards
Minimum qualifications required
6 ‘O’ levels/GCSEs (including Art & Design, English and Mathematics).
BTEC HND in Design or equivalent industry qualification.
Minimum Experience Required
3 years current, work-related experience of creative artworking and design for print production and online environments
Adobe Creative Studio CS4 and 5 (In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash) and Quark Xpress 8 on the Mac platform. Acrobat and PowerPoint on Mac and PC platforms.
Strong design skills and creative flair combined with particular attention to detail
Experience of working with pharmaceutical clients preferred.
Experience of managing client brand guidelines
Comprehensive and up to date knowledge of print production techniques and interactive media environments
Fully conversant with Mac hardware, operating system, file formats and digital transfer methods
Self-motivated, with strong interpersonal and organisation skills and able to work to tight deadlines
