The Brand Experience Designer is responsible for designing web pages that fit the business partners’ requirements and timelines. This position requires involvement in understanding the technical and graphical aspects of web site/pages.

Design compelling story-telling web and UX deigns – web, mobile, community sites including user interaction, visual concept, typography, GUI design including but not limited to apply brand visuals design languages, and styles to design microsites (internal and external).



Effectively communicate and collaborate with web marketing teams and across the in-house brand creative team - creative project managers, editors, copywriters, designers - to ensure that creative designs are responsive HTML buildable and can implement well with backend platforms.



Reports to Design Lead, the Web Designer will ensure all digital design solutions are successful in understanding target audience and business problems, implementing web design strategies set by creative director and web strategist, and designing on-brand experience solutions.



Responsibilities including but not limited to

You will create beautiful, aesthetically pleasing visual interfaces with developers

Partner with web strategist, design lead and creative project managers with marketing teams to identify their needs and liaising regularly.

Team collaboration within brand creative team to develop wireframes per content strategy, page layouts including concepts, and editorial requirements including but not limited to interactions designs, visuals, GUI, composition, and typography and colors.

Work closely with Design Lead, Web Strategist, Strategic Designers, and Creative Director on initial design ideas, design executions collaborate with web marketing teams.

Collaborate with HTML developers and online marketing teams to meeting business requirements, and to ensure all creative designs work well with implementations.

Working with different content management systems, platforms.

Collaborate with web marketing team on search engine optimisation requirements.

Designing the website's visual imagery and ensuring it is in line with company branding policy and

requirements of the business partners.

Collaborate with other creative designers (in house/extended) on concepts, design execution and

production on assigned work.

Solid interaction design foundation (process, tools, deliverables) applied at every stage of a product design and development life cycle.

Provide creative support all project phases from concept and design to production (evaluations, collaborate with web team on interaction designs as needed, low-fidelity prototypes, and design guidelines)

Represent and ensure UX integrity when collaborating with web marketing, front-end developers and creative team to address brand, technology, and business requirements



Requirements


B.F.A. in Graphic Design or equivilent.

5+ years of interaction, visual design experience

Experience in designing customer-focused web products.

Ability to empathize with developer as the customer

Adept at state-of-the-art methods for user research and usability evaluation coupled with an understanding of traditional web metrics


Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of modern web stack concepts (HTML/CSS/Javascrit) and how they come together to create delightful experiences

Strong understanding of designing for performance

Ability to understand CSS/HTML will help you implement some of your own design work. It will also help you understand our user faster.

Minimum 5-7 years in web UX, visual, and mobile optimize web design.

Excellent portfolio demonstrates compelling digital design solutions for complex problems.

Strategic, big picture thinker with fluent experience of GUI, web architecture, responsive web and mobile development.

Expert in Adobe C-Suite, knowledge HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, + Worldpress environemnt and MS Office.

Self-starter, deadline driven, team player, fluent with the creative process know-how, multi tasks as necessary.
