Universal Studios are looking for a person who would be responsible for managing the Home Based market, Host agencies and AAA club accounts including execution of negotiated contracts, marketing plans, product trainings for clients, front-line travel agents and attending any travel show or conferences associated with these accounts. Development of sales initiatives, marketing exposure and seek out new revenue generating business opportunities.
Responsible for handling and executing items or projects needed in day to day business between the end client and all Universal Orlando internal departments, including Legal, Finance, Operations, Resorts, and UPRV. Execute sales reporting and marketing program results in a timely manner. Travel is required.
Job Responsibilities :
# Develops and manages existing accounts. Responsibilities include conducting sales trainings and presentations, sales blitzes, FAMS, negotiation and execution of marketing plans, tradeshows, incentives, negotiating increased marketing exposure and implementing of all UO collateral and products to generate awareness and increase ticket and package sales.
# Develops new business and increase the sales of existing in the specific assigned areas to include Consortia, Host agency market, Home based market, Home Based Member Organizations and AAA clubs assigned. Generates sales and promotes UO product which leads to increased ticket and package sales from existing and prospective clients. Meets regularly to keep clients updated, handling all issues as a single point of contact.
# Works with UO internal divisions on end results for clients or specific internal team projects including; Legal, UPRV, Resort Sales, Operations and Finance. Attend internal meetings and strategy sessions to maintain current knowledge on all UO programs or strategize on new.
# Delegates administrative tasks, guides and assists in the development of their assigned sales coordinator
# Manages the Home Based Budget
# Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
# Performs other duties as assigned.
# Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Sales and Marketing, Business, or Hospitality is required.
# 5-7 Years Sales experience in the travel industry with existing knowledge and relationships with key accounts in the mentioned markets; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
