Job Description
Spin VFX Toronto is recruiting for a:

Renderman TD

This is a full time position to start immediately

RESPONSIBILITIES

§ Develop custom shaders for PRman via coding and/or Slim
§ Ongoing maintenance and development of the internal shading library
§ Interface with Pipeline TD and or CG Supervisor to assist in the development

REQUIREMENTS

§ 3 years experience in a VFX facility in a similar position is required
§ 3 years using Renderman in a similar position is required.
§ Proven experience in: Python, C++, MEL, SQL, QT
§ Knowledge and proven experience using Katana is considered an asset.
§ Degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or a closely related field is
considered an asset.
§ Experience with Linux (or other Unix) operating system
§ Experience with Maya & Nuke required
§ Proven team player with good organization and communication skills
and implementation of tools as they relate to shading
REMUNERATION

$85,000 to $110,000 per annum, dependent upon experience
