As a Senior Art Director / Creative Director you’ll provide forward-thinking creative leadership and inspire creative collaboration within the agency. This will include creating/co-creating exceptional concepts and leading the development of innovative and eye-catching campaigns for a wide range of clients. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

In collaboration with a Creative Director or Copywriter develop creative concepts and visual executions for advertising campaigns, business collateral and other marketing materials

Deliver outstanding creative work across various mediums, including print, web design, interactive, and video

Effectively translate branding materials and marketing strategies for a wide range of clients/verticals into a variety of marketing materials and campaigns, supervise junior stuff in further production and studio work

Analyze various multicultural trends and leverage the knowledge in creative executions

Inspire creative collaboration across the organization, proactively generating ideas for existing and potential clients of the agency

Perform miscellaneous tasks, as needed



SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Advise client on all technical visual recommendations and/or issues

Help to facilitate internal creative meetings and client meeting

Assist in presenting to client

Mentor and provide detailed feedback to designers



REQUIREMENT:

Very comprehensive photo manipulation, digital composition and retouching skills

Out of the box thinking and idealization skills

Strong skills in communication and presentation

Complete understanding of:

Color theory and color relationships

Typography

Perspective and space relationships

Page composition and grid structures

Print production process and knowledge of production techniques

- Ability to:

Effectively handle multiple assignments under tight deadlines

Mitigate and manage challenging situations both internally and with the client

Be able to effectively oversee the work of junior staff



QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of an associates (2 year) degree in advertising, communication design, or visual arts. A bachelor (4 year) degree is preferred

8+ years design experience in an agency setting is required

If no degree is possessed, then 10-12 years related in agency setting is required

Must possess exceptional computer skills. Mac operating platform a must. PC knowledge a plus. Thorough knowledge of the following software applications is required, Adobe Illustrator , Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and any widely utilized word processing application. Knowledge of 3D design soft and animation is a big plus

Demonstrated ability to think creatively in conceiving, developing and producing marketing solutions

Strong organizational and presentation skills

Proven self-starter who can work well under pressure and balance competing priorities

A huge bonus if you are native level comprehensive in Spanish, as the company is constantly expanding business in the Hispanic market
