hitRECord is an open collaborative production company seeking an experienced Senior Motion Graphics Designer/Animator for the Emmy award-winning TV show hitRECord on TV, presented by Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
A successful candidate should be highly creative, with exceptional technical abilities, and a passion for design. You must have at least 5 years of solid experience working in a professional environment; designing and creating broadcast quality motion graphics and other design requirements for marketing and entertainment purposes. As part of a fast paced team, you will be working with a group of creative directors, designers, and video editors to create compelling and creative pieces. You must be able to juggle several projects and approach each one with a fresh perspective and a unique execution.


• Production planning: collaborating with Creative Director and Producers to accurately estimate and manage project schedules
• Designing and animating sophisticated multi-layered motion graphics
• Leading teams of animators on larger projects and effectively planning your workload
• As a part of our creative team, you will be working with our or creative directors, animators and video editors to create content for the TV show, live performances and other unique applications
• Conceptualize, design, and animate dynamic 2D and 3D graphics
• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts of both complex graphics and animations; using communal judgment, principles and aesthetic design concepts


• Experience with and a strong working knowledge of Cinema 4D, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and the entire Adobe Creative Suite
• Degree level education with strong design and animation experience
• Must have 5 years operational experience
• A strong understanding of typography, color and composition
• The ability to manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and deliver under pressure
