Studio Account Manager (Photography & Video)

Role: The Studio Account Manager is responsible for the planning and management of all studio photography requirements. Working closely with the client service team, editorial team, studio General Manager and roster of photographers (and other associated roles) it’s the individual’s responsibility to ensure the photography and video requirements are achieved in an efficient manner.

Key responsibilities:

Management
• Organise shoots (all studio based) – commission, brief and source photographers, props, hair & make-up artists, stylists and models when needed (plus any additional roles when required)
• Attend and lead pre-production/photography status meetings as required
• Devise and send out call sheets, model release forms and photographer commissioning forms
• Maintain existing relationships with photographers, stylists, home economists etc. and seek out new contacts
• Manage the workload and schedule of the studio
• Responsible for ensuring that all quality control and procedures are in place at all times, and that an audit trail is available for all team members
• Troubleshoot problems
• Arrange couriers associated with studio photography
• Play an active role on ‘shoot’ day

Admin
• Control the distribution of all pictures post shoot
• Ensure all images are logged and catalogued appropriately
• Manage the image uploads to Morrisons Brand Centre
• Attend to requests from Morrisons or other agencies regarding images. E.g. uploading requested images to ftp sites
• Updating studio portfolio (Web and printed versions)

Financial
• Work within the budget and control the photography expenditure of each issue
• Ensure the overall shoot production budget is kept up to date with estimated and invoiced costs.
• Manage the financial forecast of the studio
• Ensure that PO’s are raised against all expenditure
• Manage the nominations spread sheet with the client service team / client. This includes requesting samples for photography, documenting their arrival in the office, communicating and chasing up missing samples with client
• Deal with new business enquires/quotes and follow-up, Liaise with studio manager
• Pro-actively increase revenue to Result

Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• MS Office proficient (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Graduate preferred
