UNIVA Paycast is a seeking a self-motivated, talented graphics and UI designer to bring character and polish to its products. Our core services include a suite of data-driven, web analytics applications, online payments services, and a large blog management platform, but the job will also pertain to help designing for prototypes concerning VR and mobile applications. Employees are also encouraged to use 20% of their work time to pursue their own creative ideas and build/design whatever they wish.
What you’ll do:
Polish and unify a design for our existing Gyro-n platform (www.gyro-n.com/)
Work with developers on design and UI challenges in upcoming projects and prototypes
Occasionally aid with general design tasks such as logo designs and marketing campaigns.
What we look for:
A portfolio of polished web designs/illustrations/user interfaces
Strong sense of hierarchy, typography, and color
Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS structure (enough to interact with front end developers)
Business level English/Basic Japanese ability. You will be learning Japanese while working here if you are not fluent already.
