As The Yahoo Creative Department’s Senior Art Director, you’ll uphold the vision of the Yahoo brand while playing a key role within a talented team of art directors and designers, developing concepts and art direction for advertising campaigns that build awareness and drive engagement with the wide range of Yahoo products and services (Search, Mail, Sports Fantasy Football, Digital Magazines, etc)

Responsibilities:
-Report to Associate Creative Director – Art Direction & Video
-Partner with Copywriters, Video Editors, Animators, and Creative Engineers on creative concept development and execution.
-Be an expert on the Yahoo brand’s visual identity and maintain it's consistency across all brand touch points.
-Sketch, design, tweak, and polish every project with a strong point of view on websites, installations, apps, and any experience delivered on a screen or mobile device.
-Direct other designers, sell work through, talk big picture and solve the small details — all while maintaining a calm and assertive pose.
-Follow through on original concepts with visual executions that are dynamic, distinctive and production/programmer ready.
-Take an active interest in clients' market and develop a sound knowledge of clients' product and target audiences.
-Incorporate ideas and make revisions in response to the critique of other team members and clients.
-Maintain responsibility for project through proofing, reviewing and signing off on all revisions and production phases.
-Deliver work within allotted time.
-Stay current on industry software, trends, and best practices
-Adhere to creative group and client standards regarding process; the naming, transferring and treatment of electronic files; revisions and proofreading.
-Maintain a productive and inclusive relationship with other Art Directors, ACD’s, and Creative Director.

Requirments:
-Over 7 years of experience in design and advertising (agency or in-house) and the amazing portfolio to back it up
-Passion and skill to art direct all facets of a campaign - from TV, OOH, and radio to digital, social, and more
-Outstanding presentation skills with ability to articulate a clear point of view, manage feedback, and drive alignment and clarity
-Tireless work ethic and spirited collaborator
-Solid thinker with a point of view
-Positive attitude
-Natural ability to partner well with others and thrive in a dynamic deadline-driven environment
-Passion for technology, art and science
-Independent spirit
-Desire to lead a team and mentor team members.
