Ibiza [Spain]: Mahaut
Ibiza is the southernmost of the Balearic Islands and undeniably one of the best places in Europe to shoot a commercial. If all the blues, turquoises and incredible clearness of the sea act as a backdrop to Ibiza, then the beaches, which line it, are its showcase.
The island is fortunate in its location, being close to the great capitals of Europe. The climate is exceptional with more than 220 days of sunshine in a year. Within a radius of less than 20 kilometres, Ibiza offers an impressive variety of scenery and architecture. Being an island, you can always arrange for the sun to be in the right position for photography. The light on Ibiza is unique for absence of pollution and the humidity in the air, giving a softness that enhances the qualities of the human skin and of the scenery.
Today, Ibiza has all the facilities needed for any successful production. The success of Mahaut Models - Ibiza's first children's model agency - is due to the professionalism of its children of every nationality whose 'art' of open air living and really relaxed attitude makes for great adaptability in the way they work. -

Mahaut Models children models
Kids underwear were shot by Markus Renken who returned to Ibiza to work on the Bon Prix catalogue.
They also shot another underwear catalogue Princesa produced by Simsan photo. Their young model Bella flew to Barcelona for the shoot.
At the moment, they are working on Calida catalogue with 7 kids photographed by Esad Cicic.
Otto came back to the Pitiusas to shoot their teens winter collection, followed by Prémaman from Belgium who created a winter ambience for their next catalogue.
6 of their kids photographed by Jeff Manzetti took part in a recent shoot for Carrefour, produced by Bcn Skies Productions.

Mahaut Models children models
Marcus Renken returned to the Balearics to photograph kids and babies for the Bon Prix and Ardek catalogues.
This was followed by the Peppa Production team from Hamburg who made their first visit to Ibiza to shoot the Otto catalogue.
Young kids Priscila and Jazmin flew to Mallorca for Quelle Germany and were also chosen to work together on the Maty jewellery catalogue.
Last but not least, our children worked for the La Redoute production team again for their So Home catalogue.

Mahaut Models started a busy year with a children shoot for Tom Tailor catalogue autumn/winter 04/05 followed by a Peppa production in Hamburg who booked more teens to be represented on the next Otto catalogue. Our Agency also organized a casting for them with young models, to be shot in Mallorca for the Kidoki catalogue.
Mahaut Models Kids worked with new clients such as Lacoste with Lucio, La Redoute with Bibi, Bon prix with Gregorio, and all of them used our beautiful Ibiza beaches.
Photographer Marcus Renken and his team from Hamburg made a creative test with children for his portfolio taking interesting photos using different themes all around the island.
Teens Luisa and Mia also spent a day in Formentera for Karstadt.
