  CONTRA Service Productions  

  During 2011 Contra once again showed that nearly nothing is impossible.

  Its projects went from pictures of an orangutan for British Airways with photographer Jenny van Sommers at Wyatt Clarke, to climbing the Rockies for Engelhorn Sports with photographer Frederik Clement.

  For Allianz insurance Contra helped Garry Simpson at Vue to defeat the Atlantic Ocean and enter the production halls of Airbus in Toulouse, while for the BMW i3 and i8 the company organised a photo shoot in Chicago with photographer Thomas von Salomon.

  Last but not least, Contra's Chinese baby - Contra Service Productions China - produced the 'Peoples Car' campaign for Volkswagen.

  Projects in the last months included clients such as Allianz, Barclays, DHL, Instyle USA, Linde Group, Mercedes, Porsche and Volkswagen in locations including China (Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou and Shanghai), Dubai, France, Germany, Italy, Hong Kong, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, the UK and the USA.

  Contra is especially proud to be part of the Volkswagen "People’s Car Project", which was launched in Beijing in May. More information will soon be available on Contra's website.

  For over twenty years Contra has been providing full production services for all types of photo and film production worldwide. The company opened its first office in Germany and quickly expanded into France and Spain. Contra has also been present in Hong Kong since 2005.

  CONTRA SERVICE PRODUCTIONS   photo production

  News and production highlights from Contra Service Productions International:

  • Audi photo shoot in Montreal, Sydney and Cape Town. Contra provided locations and production services, including all travel arrangements, for a multi-location global shoot with photographer Sorin Morar.
  • VW photo shoot on the island of Mallorca. Three ads were produced in December with photographer Tom Nagy and art director Johannes Hicks.
  • After an absence of around eight years, Contra is back in the USA. The company (re)opened Contra Service Productions LLC in 2008, and after a series of successful campaigns can once again offer clients all the services required for shooting in the USA.
  • Contra Service Productions Asia now has a dedicated Chinese website.
  • Over the coming months the company has work planned in California, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey and Hong Kong. More info will appear in the next Showcase.
