Recent news from Central Models: 

25 year-old Ana Luísa Barbosa, a model with Central Models since 1999, had her dreams come true when she was chosen to be the new VJ for MTV Portugal.

Fashion icon Yolanda is back at Central. A big star in Portugal during the 70´s and 80´s, today at 50 years old she is once again working as a model, appearing in the latest worldwide campaign for Ponds.

Elsa Correa and Nunu Lopes received awards for Best Portuguese Model In 2006. Both have been working extensively in the international market.

Central Models

Placing models in other markets has always been one of Central Models' strengths, and Alice and Pedro Guedes are two examples of Portuguese models successfully working internationally.

Alice arrived in Paris last June, and has since worked for several international brands. She can also be seen on the pages of magazines including Eve, Spanish ELLE and Gala, shot by Claus Wickrath.

Pedro Guedes is the star of the recent international Pulsar Watches campaign, photographed in London by Sean Ellis. Pedro was also in a recent Vodafone campaign. After shooting these jobs in London, he flew to Milan to appear in the Emporio Armani fashion show.

Central Models

Central Models opened in September 1989 and represents most of the main Portuguese names in fashion and advertising.

Many of their models are represented in various international markets in campaigns such as Gucci, Versus, Ferré, Abercrombie & Fitch, Carlo Pignatelli, Lanvin, Chantelle, Sloggi, Garnier, Braun, Swarzkopff.

They are also on the pages of international magazines such as L'Uomo Vogue, Arena, Another Magazine, GQ, Têtu, Elle, Marie Claire, Madame Figaro, Wallpaper and Tank.

The agency recently opened two new departments: Central Movie (representing upcoming and well-established actors) and Central Special (representing Portuguese celebrities).
