  Gareth Gatrell   Reportage, On Set and Portraiture Photographer

  Gareth Gatrell's most recent project took him on set shooting behind-the-scenes stills for hair brand Batiste, its first television commercial in 30 years, directed by Pete Lewtas with Oliver Curtis (D.O.P). “It was an awesome day working with some of the industry's best, the likes of whom have shot features such as Harry Potter, Ghost Rider, and more.”

  His other assignments of 2012 have taken him to the USA and India for Hello and Ok magazines.

  Gareth Gatrell is a freelance photographer based in the UK living on the coastal shores of Portsmouth. “You can’t beat the ocean to kick-start the creative mind!” he says.

  2006 saw the beginning of Gareth’s professional career in Sydney, Australia, shooting the hugely talented artists Paulini Curuenavuli, Barry Southgate and Natasha Stuart.

  Gareth’s focus is reportage and portraiture. “I love capturing those unexpected moments, whether on set or in the studio, revealing the true character of the person.”
