  New York: Stardust Visions  

  Stardust Visions highlights the talent of photographer and director Jonathan Mannion.

  Jonathan began capturing images of up-and-coming urban music superstars after working for a year with world-renowned photographer Richard Avedon. He has expanded his archive of images over the last 12 years to include a host of musicians, actors, athletes and trendsetters.

  His images attempt to push the boundaries of his art by constantly re-examining and redefining the celebrity portrait. Though his subjects are diverse, there is a common thread immediately evident in all of Jonathan's photos - an unveiled quality that tempers the richness of his subjects' celebrity personas with hints of their unguarded humanity.

  Based in New York City, Jonathan continues to progress and grow both as a photographer and film director by working with clients such as Universal, Island Def Jam, Nike, Coca-Cola, and others. An exhibition of his work will be on show at New York's MILK gallery in June.
