  Markos Fortes   fashion photographers

  2010 has been keeping Markos Fortes very busy. He was chosen as Vogue Brazil's lead photographer for a recent series of celebrity portraits and fashion editorials shot in Rio de Janeiro.

  In addition, Markos has completed a variety of different fashion and advertising campaigns for clients including Petrobras, Aviator, Basthianna and Enjoy.

  He also shot a CD cover for leading Brazilian record label Som Livre Records.

  Markos Fortes   advertising photographers

  After attending photography classes at New York's School of Visual Arts and assisting a number of fashion photographers, Markos Fortes returned to his hometown Rio de Janeiro in 2000 to begin his career.

  From his Rio-based studio Markos shoots fashion spreads, magazine covers, advertising campaigns, CD covers and portraits for a wide range of clients, including Bradesco Bank, Trip Magazine, Vogue, Som Livre Records, Wella, and others.

  His portfolio reflects the influence of a vivid Rio de Janeiro, translated into colourful and relaxed images of fashion models and TV stars enjoying the carioca sway.
