  Photographer Cruz Mendizábal extends International Woman's Day (8th March) with his show 'Mujer' at the Sofitel Hotel Madero. Depicting the feminine universe from a very personal perspective, 25 photos show strong, defiant and mysterious women.

Estilo-3D is a 3D CGI production company based in Buenos Aires. In three years of operation the company has made over 100 print advertising campaigns for major agencies in Argentina and America, including Euro RSCG, DDB, Vegaolmosponce, DraftFCB, McCann, La Comunidad, Santo, Wunderman and Dentsu.

Estilo-3D specialises in 3D design and production for objects, products, locations, cars, and characters, as well as postproduction techniques for advertising, photography, animation and interactive industries. With its dedicated team of specialist art directors, graphic and industrial designers consistently searching for the latest techniques and developing new communication solutions, the company's creative visual approach has made it an interesting option in the international advertising market.

Clients have included: VW, Toyota, Corvette, Ford, Coca Cola, LoJack, HSBC, Mini Cooper, Dove and Nissan.

Red Creek was commissioned to produce the latest extravaganza for Lotus. Known for high-adrenaline spots, the client wanted to "up the stakes", challenging director John Perez and still photographer Urko Suaya to increase the glamour without losing the active, action-oriented image the brand has cultivated so successfully.

It took two trains, two helicopters, several stunt doubles and 60 miles of track to deliver a creative vision worthy of both the client and the agency.

ba production/commercial production: REBOLUCION

Rebolucion started the year as busy as ever! The company worked with @Radical Media in the tennis battlefield of TheLadders.com, directed by Gregor Nicholas, and provided production services for Spanish company Lee Films during shooting for a great spot for 'Aquarius' - a bottled water from Coca Cola. Directed by Doble Nelson, the production was shot at the neuropsychiatry BORDA with the Radio Team "La Colifata".

Armando Bo and Luciano Podcaminsky recently shot for Unilever and Coca Cola, and worked on the multi-viewed Super Bowl spot for Visa (directed by Armando Bo) with TBWA Chiat, LA.

Baby did a great spot for MIO with Swedish Agency Garbergs, along with a narrative spot for Pepsodent, "Once upon a time", for Lowe Worldwide.

So Chic is based in both Buenos Aires and Montevideo, providing commercial and photo production services throughout the region. The company has been working on a range of different projects so far this season.

So Chic recently produced several European commercials including Renault Scenic for Publicis, Carte D'or and La Gazetta dello Sport for McCann Erickson, AllSecur for Ogilvy, and OENB for Lowe.

The company's photo production service has also been busy with the completion of a Skoda campaign for Leagas Delaney, Prague. So Chic is currently producing editorial photography for A Magazine from RCS Periodici.

Film Production Argentina specialises in helping international production companies with their film or photo shoot projects. It provides location scouting and local production services.

When asked about his work, Ale says "All my photographs are the result of an obsession with lighting and a beautiful image - the aesthetics!".

The photographer spends his time shooting between Argentina, North America, Mexico and Europe. In Spain he is represented by AProductions, and in the USA by Denise Stewart.

Over the years, Ale Burset has shot for clients including Reebok, VW, Chevrolet, Phillip Morris, Converse, Adidas, Ford, Chandon, Energizer and Quaker, among many others.

His most recent jobs have been for Nike, Greenpeace, Clorox, Hospital Aleman, Osteoporosis, Vectra and Sprite.

'Birds of Paradise' - work in progress - is a 2008 production by Gaby Herbstein. The artist has compiled a book of photographs from images inspired by the various sensations provoked by birds.

Movement, colour, beauty, freedom and harmony all influenced the photographer in bringing together a selection of famous personalities known for their artistic expression. Actors, models, dancers, make-up artists, hair stylists, filmmakers, and set designers all contributed. The most prestigious fashion designers in the country also designed exclusive creations for the production.

Young photographer Sol Abadi has been working in the international fashion and advertising field for the past 10 years.

Her studio is based in Buenos Aires and some of her clients include Disney, FCB, Publicis, Ogilvy, Catalogue Magazine, Elle, Big Magazine, KFC, Western Union, Mc Donald's, Adidas & DirecTV, among others.

Recent major projects include Allegra (Mexico), Hitachi, Tennis and Chandon.

Ines Garcia Baltar specialises in fashion and beauty photography. Her versatility makes her suitable for a broad range of projects.

Ines has worked for many different advertising agencies and clients in the USA, UK, Mexico, and Ecuador. She's a regular contributor to many Buenos Aires magazines and has collaborated with some of the best local fashion labels.

The photos in this feature were shot for lingerie brand Jane Pain at a 1930's spa near Buenos Aires.

Buenos Aires-based Jesus Guiraud's creativity and cutting-edge style is known to produce striking images with a sleek sense of aesthetic, composition and colour.

Jesus specialises in fashion and beauty photography, and his versatility makes him a suitable choice for a broad range of projects.

He recently completed work for several well-known clients and magazines associated with the fashion and advertising industry, including Elle and Drando Magazine.

Tomi & Cherry operate a multidisciplinary studio. They perform their skills in several fields, including photography, illustration, postproduction, art direction, prop styling and set design. The pair are involved in every aspect of their projects.

They work together as artists, focussing on fashion yet aiming to cross their multidisciplinary backgrounds to generate a visual language that they enjoy reinventing over and over again.

Their work includes fashion campaigns, editorial productions, advertising and party development. They are represented in Argentina by Civiles Management.

Ledesma Millennium is one of the most prestigious photographic, retouching and production studios in Argentina. Its objective is to create sensations through photography with continuous innovation and creativity. The postproduction department is of global standard with two Mac retouching stations.

Facilities include a studio of 500sq metres and a 15m x 15m gallery, with working distance of 28m that enables car photography and set building. A height of 9m allows numerous production possibilities, and includes an 8m x 6m motorised screen with 39 mega pixel PHASE ONE digital back for Sinar or Hasselblad. The company also offers 30 head flash equipment with 30,000 Watts power.

Ledesma Millennium has worked in Madrid, Sao Paulo and Mexico (DF), shooting and retouching on location. Clients have included: Unilever, Toyota, Ford, Coca Cola, Peugeot, and Citröen.
