Be sure to check out our featured events:

• Photoespaña 2008 starts in Madrid on 4th June, and its main subject will be 'Places'. Works by Bill Brandt, Thomas Demand and Javier Vallhonrat amongst many others will be shown in different parts of the city.
• Barcelona's summer festival season starts on 29th May with Primavera Sound, followed by Daydream on the 12th and Sónar on the 19th June.
• The 23rd edition of El Sol, the Latin American advertising extravaganza, will take place 29th-31st May in San Sebastián.

Team Works presents its latest production:

Lexus - Silver UK.
Director: Richard Oliver.
Client: Lexus.

This four day, multi location production was shot in downtown Barcelona and the surrounding mountains. Five different 2008 Lexus cars were used for the numerous planned scenes. The production team used a camera car, tracking boom and all available gadgets during what was an action-packed shoot.

Over the past few months Mea Culpa Productions participated in a solidarity project in Nicaragua, and produced editorials for client Blob Creative Group 2.

The first was for Vogue Italy, with actor Elio Germano, and the second for Italian Riders Magazine, with Marco D'Annunzio. Both productions were shot by photographer Pier Paolo Ferrari, with make-up artist Fernanda Perez and stylist Benedetta Baiocchi for Vogue editorial.

U LA LA Events & Productions began 2008 with a host of jobs from some of the industry's top companies. Many of these campaigns are yet to be released, so for the moment the images remain top-secret.

The company can reveal that it worked in Madrid, Barcelona and Granada with photographers including Rankin, Michealangelo di Batista, Susane Walstrom, Alexis Armanet and Blinkk, with agencies Fallon, Saatchi Design, Winkreative, and many more.

Presented in this Showcase are some great images from the Rankin shoot with Thierry Henry for Reebok/Dazed & Confused.

"After a few years in art school they made me believe I was an artist. It didn't last very long."

Photographer Eugenio Recuenco has exhibited in venues around the world, including PhotoEspaña, Naarden Photofestival in the Netherlands, Art Toronto, and at the Bertin-Toublanc gallery in Paris. This year he will take part in the Miami Photo Festival.

Eugenio has shot for many international titles, including Madame Figaro, Wad, Spoon, Planet, Vanity Fair, Stern and ZinK, along with Spanish magazines Vogue, View, Vanidad and GQ. His international campaigns have included Boucheron, Baby Phat, Diesel, Rammstein, Mágnum, Nina Ricci and Shanghai Tang, and for the Spanish market he shot Festina, Custo, Carrera y Carrera, Codorniu, Mango Adorably, Baby Doll, Loewe and Cutty Sark.

The photographer recently began experimenting with moving images, working on videos such as 'Para nada', 'Silk' and 'Essence' which can be seen at his website.

Photographer David Ruiz continues his collaboration with a variety of different publicity agencies, shooting diverse campaigns for Shackleton BCN and Global Health BCN.

He has been shooting high-fliers from the world of finance for new client Forbes Magazine, New York. In this Showcase he also includes some of the personal work requested by his Photo Stock clients.

David will also work on producing the promo poster for the Contemporary Jewellery Award, commissioned by the FAD in Barcelona.
