ba film/film production: RED CREEK PRODUCTIONS

Red Creek recently finished production of Fox Italy's "Horror" spot, directed by Gabriel Sagel. The production involved a blend of live action, animation and special effects, as the script called for "blood raining over a bus full of monsters."

Asked about this latest of jobs for Fox, Gabriel said: "It's always a pleasure working for the Fox Italy guys; we not only have fun and get along great, but their ideas are always inspiring and are very open-minded about the whole process. I look forward to shooting many more spots for them."

• Gustavo Kaplan filmed Canesten commercials for Bayer with JWT Guatemala Creativity, and shot for Sabori - a Beker Euro RSCG Mexico account. He also began work in the musical arena, filming a videoclip for Argentinian band Sindomingo.
• Hernan Enriquez is currently working with agencies such as JWT and Young and Rubicam, filming entire campaigns with client Bayer for both the local and regional markets.

On the local scene, GAL Cine produced the latest spots for Jumbo (La Comunidad), Quilmes Red Lager (Y&R), and Clarin Autos 2008 (ADN), among others.

Based in Buenos Aires, GAL Cine has more than 10 years experience producing commercials. In-house directors include Nes Buzzalino, Rafa Chinchilla, Alvaro Quevedo and Fabricio Meriglio.

Aside from producing its own spots and being one of the most experienced tabletop studios in the region, GAL Cine provides production services in Argentina for TV commercial and still photography clients.

• Marcos López will be holding a workshop at ¨El Centro de la Imágen¨ in Mexico, as well as opening an exhibition at Galería Project B in Milan.
• Dino Bruzzone shot another monumental composition entitled "Salud" with fruit and vegetables for Y&R client Disco Supermarket, and also oponed a solo show "Charly" at the Dabbah-Torrejón Gallery.
• Argentinafoto have just finished providing production services for Nescafe USA.

• The 4th edition of DFashion México is coming up between October 8th and 9th at the Sheraton Centro Histórico DF. Argentinian designer Mariano Toledo will introduce his spring/summer collection in conjunction with Civiles production services.

Andres Slater's training in the Fine Arts is clearly visible in his commercial work. The composition of his pictures and the way he chooses the locations he shoots import a sense of reality to his photographs.

Not having to rely upon digital retouching adds to this feeling of Fine Art photography, giving the impression that the true idea is present in the final image.
