Horton-Stephens A photographers’ agents that offers a crack team of ultra-helpful assistants with an in-depth knowledge of photography, the photographers they represent and all aspects of production. They represent a full spectrum of photographers, and are affiliated with a partner agent M-Represents in New York.2005 has seen the launch of Um, a talented pot of cgi artistry whose roots are in photography and modelmaking, and whose work has been decorated by more awards this year than any other such outfit. The Virgin Airlines “Cuban Cigar” is just one example. Richard Ansett has just returned from Bavarian Beer Festivals with a block of new work to see. Lederhosen never looked so kinky. Julian Wolkenstein is so exciting to work with that he struggled to get his models to yawn for his latest personal project, Yawn (available online). The excellent Alan Mahon continues to defy categorisation. You can still see his classics: the gruesome “wounds” series, the award-winning Gun Crime campaign and his AOP winning personal series, alongside his more recent work like Playstation and Tekken for TBWA (shown left). Lovely Karin Berndl is showing one of her recent collaborations with an illustrator, the series is on her online gallery. Eugenio Franchi, hailing not from the valleys of Chiantishire, but somewhere nearer Cardiff, has added some more of his beautiful, carefully considered photographs to the site. “Skull” illustrates his style where everything is reduced to a minimum in order to communicate in the most powerful possible way. Fernando Milani is based in New York. We are proud to represent his fabulous beauty work via our New York affiliate agent. Ever charming Graham Tooby has worked hard to fill his new folio with classic still life photos shot on location in his local toilet, no expense spared! Matthew Murray’s sense of the bizarre shines through his new online selection. They depict religious theme-parks, waxworks, stuffed animals and transsexuals… though not all at the same time. Jason Knott has proved to be the most prolific of shooters these last six months adding to his constantly evolving folio. And lastly, Gary Salter has been photographing male… ahem... dirigibles for his latest ad commission for Lambrini Wines. Folios can be ordered online. |

Van Hauen Moore Van Hauen Moore are pleased to announce that they now represent the photographer Pedro Alvarez. It's been a fantastic year for George Logan. He was awarded an AoP Gold for his Animal series in the Project category, and received various commissions including the current dynamic global press campaign for Nokia. Paul Murphy's renowned urban landscapes have inspired many a car campaign since his Cannes Gold triumph with the VW "Cops" press ads. Commissions followed from VW Paris, Land Rover UK and Renault France. Award-winning photographer, Ken Griffiths' China exhibition opened to critical acclaim at the Michael Hoppen Gallery London. Photographs from his on-going Three Gorges Dam project depict a lost landscape and the emergence of a new one. The images are printed on aluminium using carbro printing, giving his work a painterly quality. This year has also brought key campaigns for Master Card, shot by Mark Leary; Shell with Philip Lee Harvey; O2 for Samuel Hicks; Sony for Duncan McKenzie and a glamourous Conran Design project for Vera Kodajova (fresh still-life talent). |

Noelle Pickford From the inimitable and sometimes surreal brilliance of David Stewart to the epic automotive landscapes of Carl Lyttle, Noelle is in the enviable position of representing a bevy of unbridled talent and creativity. David’s ‘Action Man’ poster for Land Rover with Jerry Hollens at RKCR/Y&R was a silver winner at this year’s Campaign Poster Awards. He also found himself in the final selections with Virgin and 118118 in two other categories. David will be exhibiting in the forthcoming Schweppes Portrait Awards at the National Portrait Gallery. The breathtaking frozen vistas by Carl for Land Rover through RKCR/YR follow in the footsteps of his previous prestigious campaigns for Nissan, Mitsubishi and Renault to name but a few. Also showing some outstanding work at the Schweppes Portrait Awards is Paul Thompson with ‘Bumps’, a continuation of ‘Twins’, his winning shot of last year. Paul complements his beautifully honest and quirky portraiture with equally beguiling still life, recently shooting a series of cacti in varying degrees of hirsuteness for Philips Ladyshave through DDB. Rob Fletcher at Isobel brought Jess Koppel and client Denby together this year to produce a mouth-watering array of images. Never has a bowl of chunky chips looked so inviting! Her exquisite use of light elevates food photography to deliciously new levels, combining an intrinsic sense of composition with unerring skill and good taste. Rob White, blending his signature eye for Taking us from the monolithic posters for Land Securities for William Murray Hamm through to the bejewelled gargoyles and silk-cushioned cinemas of that fantastic Peter Jones campaign, Angus Fraser captures architectural dynamism in the most unusual of landscapes. And from the aesthetic heights of Angus to the sublime still life work of Sara Morris, whose recent shots for Breast Cancer Awareness for Rob Oliver at AMV have become some of the most distinctive, and perfectly pink, to date. Sara loves nothing more than being given the freedom to put her seemingly effortless creativity into a project. Back in the office, Noelle and Clare, highly skilled in the art of production, remain cool and collected while lending themselves to a myriad of unearthly tasks, be it floating a Chrysler Crossfire in the middle of the Channel, or recreating a mini Sahara using 14 different types of cheese. |
