nyc photography/photographers: IRIS BROSCH

Iris Brosch just returned back to New York City from a trip to Sri Lanka where she created a ‘Black Venus in White’ for the British Marie Claire UK with model Yordanos Tehager (from Codemanagement).

Picking the countryside for the shoot, because of its colors and exotic location, the team felt welcomed by the locals, who are still suffering from the Tsunami catastrophe. This editorial will appear as a 12-14 page spread in the upcoming June issue in the UK. Stylist: Sarah Christi.

Another fashion story, inspired by technology and lighting effects, was also shot recently for Conde Nast's publication DNR.

One Naked Egg is an agency representing photographers and a make-up artist, operating from New York City’s groovy area, the Meat Packing District.

Mike Duva recently joined the agency and has a client list including MTV, Viacom, Newsweek, Popular Science, Guitar World and Interior Design Magazine. Company founder Ivy Brown says "It has been years since I've seen a photographer with such diversity while staying stylistically consistent.”

The company started out in 1985 to represent "avant-garde fashion folks and creative freaks", not necessarily photographers. Catering to institutional clients ranging from Nike, Cover Girl, DreamWorks, and MTV, to Lord & Taylor and Estée Lauder, One Naked Egg has worked with most major international advertising agencies. Still in the same landmark “Triangle” building, today One Naked Egg represents almost a dozen photographers, each of which has a unique, distinctive style.

nyc creativity/graphic design: PROJECT M

Creating a new logo was the first step for Project M in giving Springer Publishing Company  a ‘facelift’. Derived from the founder’s last name (‘Springer’ is German and it means ‘jumper’), Project M created a new eye-catching icon that is contemporary and friendly, therefore making the company look more personal while reflecting their vision for the future.

Founded in 1950 by Bernhard Springer, SP established themselves as a leader in nursing and medical books, without ever giving any thought to Corporate Identity. After their acquisition by Mannheim Holding, LLC, management recognized the need to update the company's image and establish a presence on the Web.

The design of the web site (www.springerpub.com) is totally database-driven, making it extremely easy for the staff of SP to update and maintain their complete library of books and every element.
