  Matyas Misetics Photographer   fashion photographers

  Matyas Misetics is a fashion and advertising photographer based in Budapest. He studied photography at Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design Budapest, and Universität der Künste Berlin. While his art photography has been exhibited in Paris, Berlin, Prague and Vienna, his commercial work has appeared in several magazines, catalogues and billboards.

  Matyas Misetics Photographer   fashion photographers

  For all its technological advancement, Matyas Misetics' work exudes a return to the figurative painting of previous centuries; his goal, a perfectly fabricated picture. With the use of contrasting light and well-considered locations the photographer constructs his own image code that even works alongside a strong narrative element. According to the Berlin-based theoretician and curator, Horst Kloever, Matyas' photographs are close to the aesthetics of film, especially the modern form of Film Noir: full of atmosphere, latent tension and uncertainty.
