  But whether it was the blustery British coastline or a barren desert, a quiet country pub or a risqué three in a bed situation, each photographer has taken it in their stride and injected their own unique style to the shot to create some truly eye-catching ad campaigns.   Lesley Edith portrays an unusual sense of intimacy and maturity in her portraits of children; Gareth Morgans’ eye for vibrant detail brings a stylish twist to food photography; and Phil Sills is a fantastic drinks and still life photographer, bringing a distinctive fresh style.

  The other agency's photographers have been busy shooting with clients such as Philips, Battersea Dogs Home, Direct Ski, Yorkie and The World Gold Council.

  With a stable of seven fabulous photographers, Vue loves to get stuck into a good shoot, whether that be for the logistical challenges on a large-scale production right through to getting the details perfect for an intricate still life shoot.

  The agency's photographers have covered a lot of ground recently, heading off to Iceland, Canada, Spain, France, Germany, the Caribbean, a university and a pub for some brilliant shoots for Barclays, PRS, Marston’s Pedigree, Allianz, Shell and NAPP, amongst others.

  Recent news:

  • Last year Penny Cottee was going for gold! A real highlight from the World Gold Council shoots has to be the day the Bullion bar turned up, all £526k of it.
     
  • Dylan Collard has continued to pick up awards for his Langland Healthcare commissions and now lists The Discovery Channel amongst his favourite clients to work for.
     
  • Alan Powdrill shot back-to-back for Kenco, Langland and Pro Plus. His Reality Football series found a home for two years at Wembley Stadium.
     
  • Garry Simpson found himself being winched from an offshore platform whilst shooting for Allianz.
     
  • Charlie Crane started his first full year at Vue shooting with HSBC in Dubai and sunny South Africa.
     
  • Jonathan Minster ventured outside the studio to create the beautiful 'Targets' series.
     
  • Morgan Silk worked on campaigns for Shell, Land Rover, Botox, and went to Wales to work for Howard Marks.

  Despite the summer nights drawing in, the team at Vue are feeling very cheerful indeed..

  Five Vue photographers were selected for the 2009 Creative Review Photography Annual. New personal work from Garry Simpson, Dylan Collard, Deirdre O'Callaghan, David Balhuizen and Morgan Silk can be seen in the current issue.

  The year has also seen the usual great mix of projects for the Vue gang - editorial, advertising, health care, and publishing commissions "have been keeping everyone out of mischief and the folios refreshed."
