  Mauricio Candela  

  Mauricio Candela started his career in advertising in the 1990s.

  He has worked as an art director for some of the most important agencies in Colombia, his country of origin. In 1999 he moved to the USA where he became a creative director.

  At the same time he developed his passion for photography, honing his skills and applying his creative knowledge to a new discipline. As an advertising creative, he learned to live off of his ideas. Today, his idea is to live off his photography.

  The Blur Office   advertising photographers

  The Blur Office is comprised of two Miami-based photographers who work together telling stories through pictures. Mauricio has more than 15 years of experience in the advertising industry, while Alejo is an anthropologist and professional photographer. Together, they specialise in advertising, fashion, portrait, commercial and catalogue photography.

  And the result of combining the know-how and talents of these two photographers? "Two artists who know that any image is worth a thousand words, but who believe that one photo is worth a thousand stories. Two artists who channel the unique combination of their experiences through their photography. The challenge of astounding and being astounded."

  Their common quest has resulted in a great friendship - and a few good photographs! Together they are The Blur Office.
