The visionary duo, photographer Peter Farago and stylist Ingela Klemetz-Farago, belongs to one of the most creative teams of today’s fashion photography. As part of a unique collaboration with CHANEL in 2010 and 2011, the Faragos created full fashion stories featuring 46 of the most sought-after supermodels from the Nordic and Baltic countries. Freja Beha Erichsen, Helena Christensen, Iselin Steiro, Edita Vilkeviciute, Sigrid Ågren, Frida Gustavsson, Suvi Koponen, Kirsi Pyrhonen, Carmen Kass, Siri Tollerod, Caroline Winberg, Louise Pedersen and Dorothea Barth Jörgensen are just a few of the women involved in the project.
The world-renowned centre of contemporary photography Fotografiska, in Stockholm,
will be the starting point of this inspirational fashion journey. The opening of the
exhibition and the book launch party will take place on June 30th, 2011. The exhibition closes on September 11th. -

Fotografiska photo galleries
Fotografiska opened in May with the aim of becoming an important centre for contemporary photography. Exhibiting world-renowned photographers, many for the first time in Sweden, the museum has an exhibition space of 2 500 m² and will feature major exhibitions throughout the year. Fotografiska aims to engage and inspire dialogue on photography through exhibitions, seminars and courses, in addition to actively working towards the acquisition of contemporary photography for its permanent collection.
Located in the heart of Stockholm, Fotografiska is housed in an industrial Art Nouveau building dating from 1906. Designed by Ferdinand Boberg, it was formerly a customs warehouse and has protected status. The beautiful original brick façade is still intact, while the interiors have been renovated to house the museum. The City of Stockholm has funded the 250 million Swedish Crowns restoration costs, and in addition to exhibition spaces Fotografiska houses an academy, bistro, cafe, bar, conference rooms, a museum shop, gallery, and event spaces.
Current Exhibitions: Annie Leibovitz: A Photographer's Life, 1990–2005. Vee Speers: The Birthday Party. Joel-Peter Witkin: Bodies. Lennart Nilsson: A Child is Born. Anders Petersen: From Back Home.
